NORTHERN LEOPARD FROG
​Rana catesbeiana

They are green or greenish-tan, and covered in oval-shaped brown or dark green spots that are surrounded by a lighter colored ring. Belly is white or may be tinted a light greenish-white. There is a white stripe on the upper lip. 

They are found in a few counties
 in extreme Northern Missouri.


They are sometimes referred to as the Meadow Frog or the Grass Frog.
